LitWorld

Read a free children's book online today and help LitWorld provide books to the families of the Navajo Nation. For every book you read between now and January in support of LitWorld's Navajo Nation campaign, We Give Books will donate one book to help LitWorld's effort to supply every family on the Navajo Nation with books to read together.
With your support, LitWorld will bring the power of story and a love of reading to the children of the Navajo Nation. The need for books for native populations is distinct: American Indians have the highest school dropout rates in the country. American Indian children are twice as likely to live in poverty as their white peers and frequently reside in remote areas with little access to libraries. LitWorld is continuing its commitment to the education of the Navajo population by partnering with Unite for Literacy to provide a series of literacy workshops to educate families on the Navajo Nation about how to engage their children in the world of words, creating reading experiences that enrich lives and strengthen communities.
We Give Books aims to donate 5,000 books to LitWorld's Navajo Nation campaign to help ensure that the children of the Navajo Nation have the opportunity to read, explore, and grow. These books will be the tools parents use to build the foundation for their children's education at an early age.
