Try and imagine for a moment children growing up in a world without books. Now imagine a library full of the best children's books in the world that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is accessible to everyone. Imagine that while enjoying those books you can help tackle illiteracy.
We Give Books is a new digital initiative from Penguin and Pearson Foundation
designed to inspire everyone to read more and, at the same time, put books in the hands of people who are without
them. The way We Give Books works is simple. Each book you read on this site will help to share a children's book
with someone who desperately needs it.
Click "How it Works" to get started. Please help us share the power and joy of reading.
Fun classroom activities that will make your students fingers and toes come alive!
Wonderful activities focused on our pre-historic friends. Activities will allow your child the ability to express themselves through problem solving skills.
Thank you for helping to prepare We Give Books for our public debut this spring. We're aiming to share 10,000 books between now and March 15th. Thanks for taking the time to help us reach this goal and for supporting our great literacy partners.
Through March 15th you'll automatically receive 500 points each time you read and help share a book at We Give Books. By way of thanks, we'll donate 500 great Penguin and DK children's books to a school or charity selected by each of the three Pearson people with the highest scores on that date (more)
