One Million Books Read,
One Million Books Donated!
We did it! We reached one million books read online at We Give Books, but that's not the best part. Your reading enabled us to donate one million books to children in need around the world!
With your help, we've donated 150,000 books to Jumpstart preschool classrooms across the United States; helped restore a feeling of security by sharing 75,000 books with children in refugee camps through World Vision; stocked Room to Read local-language libraries around the world with more than 60,000 books; shared over 250,000 books with U.S. public schoolchildren; provided over 60,000 books to accompany free teacher training in East Africa with Tinga Tinga Tales; brought more than 35,000 books to children in rural Asia with Asia Society's Books for Asia program; and the list goes on! Find out more about the organizations we've worked with, and choose a current campaign to support on our campaign partners page.
Now let's see how quickly we can read and give another million books!
